Meet the Team
Founder & Director
Ryan Harvey
Ryan’s path to founding Mind Remedy began where most great things do, on the ground, doing the work. He started as a support worker, and it was in that role that he discovered something that would shape everything that followed: the right support, delivered by the right person, can genuinely change someone’s life.
Over time, he saw that gap clearly. Participants with real potential, real goals, and real desire to grow and not always getting the support that matched that ambition. Ryan became the kind of worker who didn’t just show up, he invested, listened, and built genuine trust with the people he supported. That instinct to go further is what ultimately led him to build Mind Remedy.
As Director, Ryan leads the growth, strategic direction, and ethical governance of Mind Remedy. He has cultivated a professional culture grounded in whole-person wellness and evidence-based support. A natural leader with a focus on service innovation, Ryan possesses a unique ability to translate complex participant needs into actionable, high-impact support strategies. He is committed to creating an environment where operational excellence empowers both staff and participants to thrive.
He’s based on the Bellarine Peninsula, deeply rooted in the local community, and still as passionate about the work today as the day he started.
Co-Founder & Wellness Team Leader
Madelyn Harvey
Madelyn co-founded Mind Remedy Support driven by a lifelong passion for creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and valued. Her journey into disability support began caring for her aunty, who lives with a disability – an experience that shaped everything about how she approaches her work.
With over eight years of experience across the disability sector – including NDIS management, support coordination, and roles within the NDIA – Madelyn brings both deep knowledge and genuine heart to everything she does. As a singer-songwriter and kinesiologist in training, she leads Mind Remedy’s wellness and creative programs, weaving music, mindfulness, and self-expression into support in a way that’s truly unique.
She believes everyone deserves care that isn’t just functional – but uplifting and meaningful.
Operations Coordinator
Mikayla Taylor
Mikayla joined Mind Remedy because the values aligned with hers and that shows in everything she does. She manages the day-to-day operations of the business: compliance, participant onboarding, rostering, and making sure the systems behind great support are solid.
With a background spanning business development in the NDIS space, project coordination at Barwon Health, and regional supervision managing NDIS packages, staff, and clients. Mikayla knows this sector inside and out. What she loves most about this work is watching participants grow, build confidence, and be happy.
